It’s easy to get around town on foot. All Port Credit businesses and events are accessible along local sidewalks and walking trails, making it the perfect place to stretch your legs for a leisurely stroll with friends to lunch or a run with your workout buddy.

Getting Here By Biking

Cyclists are welcome in Port Credit. Bike along the Waterfront Trail for a beautiful view during your ride, use residential roads for a quieter spin or take Lakeshore Road to access our beautiful parks and vibrant downtown.

Getting Here By Train

To get from Downtown Toronto to Port Credit using public transit, you’ll actually need to use GO Transit, since the TTC network doesn’t extend beyond Toronto city limits. Here’s the easiest route:

  • Union Station (Downtown Toronto) → take the Lakeshore West GO Train (green line).
  • Ride westbound toward Oakville / Hamilton.
  • Get off at Port Credit GO Station (about 20–25 minutes from Union).
  • From Port Credit GO, you can walk 5–10 minutes south to the waterfront / Lakeshore Rd., or take a MiWay bus if heading further into Mississauga.

Getting Here By Car

Driving in from out of town? No problem! Downtown Port Credit is easily accessible from the Queen Elizabeth Way by taking the off-ramp at Mississauga Rd., Hurontario St., or Cawthra Rd.

GO-Train-service-to-Niagara-Falls

Getting Here By Bus

Taking the bus to Port Credit is a great travel option, especially if you are coming from elsewhere in Mississauga. MiWay has bus routes traveling to and through Port Credit. The Port Credit GO Station serves as a major Mississauga bus station for east-west, as well as north-south, bus routes.
